CIRTOINNO - Circular economy tools to support innovation in green and blue tourism SMEs

Objective: Improve the transfer of innovation for the benefit of blue and green sector SMEs through joint cross-border actions.
Project implementation area: Lithuania, Denmark, Sweden, Poland. The role of Klaipėda Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts in this project: one of the project partners.
Duration: 36 months, since 2017 January
EU Contribution: Total project value: 1 285 975,18 EUR, (Klaipėda 92 884,23 EUR). (The project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund: https://ec.europa.eu/regional_policy/en/funding/erdf/2014-2020) euro.
Description:
The main idea of the project is to increase innovativeness of blue and green tourism companies, by integrating selected elements of the circular economy into their services, products and business models. The concept of CE assumes minimizing the environmental impact of products/services.
